It is my goal to help every student in my class to realize their own personal fitness. I emphasize the importance of the health benefits of exercise and encourage students to find something that they love to do that helps them engage in regular physical activity. I teach my students about the cardiorespiratory system, the muscular system, and how we can use exercise to our advantage to strengthen our bodies and minds. I lead discussions on how regular exercise and healthy nutrition can prevent disease and illness, always with the underlying message that it is a personal choice on how they want to use their bodies and minds to enhance the quality of their lives.
